Seller's Note
Introduced in 1955, the Mercedes 190 SL is an elegant convertible reminiscent of its predecessor, the 300 SL . The 190 SL was the work of in-house designers Karl Wilfert and Walter Hackert . They designed a refined car powered by a four-cylinder engine renowned for its robustness. Production ended in 1963. The example offered exclusively by Veitura has undergone a complete restoration from bare metal by Classic Auto Restor. It features many new parts, including the wiring harness, starter, alternator, fuel system, original solex carburetors, the fuel tank has been treated, the interior upholstery has been completely redone, and the soft top is new. The car has had a standard engine exchange and has 23,105 km on the clock. Its MOT is clean. The vehicle was appraised by Classic Expert in February 2021 at a value of 160,000 euros.
