In the summer of 1955, Hotchkiss began production of the model christened "M-201", 27,614 of which rolled off the production lines, mainly at the Stains plant in Seine-Saint-Denis, first in 6 V, then in 24 V. The engine is a Hotchkiss-built 2199 CC GO DEVIL developing 60 HP. The vehicle offered was a Jeep Radio for the French army, so it is fitted with a dynamo, ignition and shielded cables to limit interference emissions, and its power supply is 24 volts. Serial number 19854 It underwent a first restoration in 1972 by the French army and a second by its current owner from 2008 to 2012 Reinforcements under the body, wiring harness, water pump, fuel pump, cylinder head gasket, flywheel, brake shoes, wheel cylinders and hoses, starter, door kits, upholstery, soft top, US paint and decoration.
